The Ultimate Sin

As entrepreneurs, we're cursed to see what others can't. We dare to imagine a better future for our children and grandchildren; we have the courage to go for what we think is the right thing to do.

But, society doesn't always appreciate the creative and intelligent. Society tends to conform, to hang on the past. We seek the familiar; we want everyone to be like us or nothing at all.

It doesn't have to be that way.

You can override this "survival" mechanism that society will enforce upon you. You only need one person to believe in you; that person is you.

If the world is uniting against you, it means nothing, use the challenges to strengthening your resolve. Don't be a puppet, don't give up to the pressure.

Your sin isn't that you're different, your sin is if you allow anybody to convince you that you're not.

Turn the "curse" into a "gift."

Very soon their bitterness will become apologies.

You're not alone.

  1. By the way, moral support is also necessary. It is great to have it, but if it isn't available, you must learn to how to motivate yourself.

  2. Another thing to keep in mind is being considerate of other people's feelings even when we don't agree with them, or they with us.

  3. Arthur,

The way I see it, is you either search for support outside yourself, or generate it from within. You can't have both. There's no grey areas here, just my opinion.

To some limit, yes, you can't consider other people's feeling, if they continue to abuse you, can you?
